| 2007-11-23 | XDEN | All IFR operations in and out of Stapleton International (XDEN) are prohibited until a formalized policy is published. The vZDV Staff refuse to accept responsibility for any issues that arise because of lack of control and knowledge regarding the Stapleton area. Continuing to fly in and out of XDEN when we haven't even formally approved it, is unacceptable and puts other virtual pilots in 'vdanger', and also places un-warranted stress upon student controllers. All prospective IFR flights must depart VFR, and receive IFR Clearance en-route. All inbound IFR flights must cancel IFR within 30nm of the airport. Due to these restrictions, all Stapleton operations must occur during VFR Meteorological Conditions, and all aircraft must remain outside the Denver Class B. |
